Who is #KP41?

 

Kreg Palko was born on April 29, 1965 in Lansing, Michigan to Barbara and Andrew Palko. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1988 with a degree in Management. 

In 1992 Kreg married his beautiful sweetheart, Elizabeth, an artist and graduate of the College of Charleston. Over years, the couple had two wonderful children, Gabby and Kyle.

Kreg was a distinguished pilot, serving in the US Air Force during Desert Storm and for private enterprise before settling in Rhode Island as a healthcare administrator. 

Kreg had a passion for many outdoor sports. Being an avid skier, Kreg was known to launch off jumps into full spread eagles, sometimes toppling off small cliffs...  He was a hiking enthusiast, climbing mountains and glaciers in the Torres del Paine of Patagonia. He would bike down terrifying mountains that were scary, just looking up from the base.  Kreg especially had a love for the water, from boating to surfing…ripping waves on numerous continents.

Kreg was a was an amazing man living life to the fullest. He and his family battled ALS for over 5 years. That battle ended on October 6th, 2017. PWF is proud to call Kreg our friend and our hero.
